CPU replay engines, plain Java with no optional runtime dependency so they are always available. Two paths: a scalar interpreter (the portable fallback and the deterministic CPU oracle an accelerated result is checked against, path-for-path on the same Philox stream), and a bytecode-generating engine that emits the tape as a tape-specific class via the Class-File API (final since JDK 24) — straight-line forward and reverse sweeps, segmented to stay inside HotSpot C2 limits. No incubator module, no native library; the LTS-Java-clean default fast path.
